Park City, Utah
A recently-completed assignment of upscale resort homes is the Moondance Cabins for Talisker Homes at the Tuhaye Golf Course Community in Park City, Utah. Tuhaye is home to a Mark O’Meara championship golf course with a clubhouse designed by world renowned architect, Robert A.M. Stern along with multi-million dollar homes. Overlooking the Tampanagos and Wasatch Mountains, Deer Valley Mountain and the Jordanelle Reservoir, we built three model homes on a site adjacent to the clubhouse in a joint venture with the developer. These homes were originally designed by Hart & Howerton Architects who worked with us to translate them into a systems-built program. We were able to assist them by providing a process that allows them to be able to build homes without adding significant staffing or resources. With a significant investment in land, infrastructure and other soft costs already invested, we enable the developer to sell from the model homes and develop a revenue stream quicker and with considerably less risk than having to build homes on spec or trying to deliver in an acceptable timeframe to new buyers.
These cabins are available in duplex models ranging from 2,200 to 2,500 square feet as well as a free standing 2,900 square foot home. The Moondance Cabins have the highest level of custom finishes inside and out and were produced in a construction cycle of 4-6 months from start to finish. Tight cost controls and the highest level of customer satisfaction highlight this upscale golf course community. The first of three homes has already sold for more than US $500 per square foot.
